Three things.
One: after one epic headband-fail, I successfully made this one:
Yay!
Two: One of the major reasons for my lack of blogging recently is this: we just became homeowners for the first time! We take possession in March. Which means that I now spend 16.5 hours a day thinking about how to arrange my new cutlery drawer and where to put the dog food.
Yay!
Three: This is how cold it is here...
Umm...not so yay.
Congratulations on the house purchase!!! March will come soon and I totally relate to the whole thoughts of setting up before you actually get in. I have to say that with this last move I was better about this, mind you, my thoughts were probably more on my being homeless. ;) The headband looks terrific. Those flowers are beautiful and I can't wait to see some on a LO or card. Loved your experiment. I know that it has been soooo cold for you guys. I often wonder what our southern bloggy friends think of us northerners. They must think we are nuts to live up here. Are we?????
ReplyDeleteSo you DID buy the house! YAAYAYAY! When do we get to see pictures?? I can't wait to see.
ReplyDeleteThe headband is adorable.
Yay for you!! Yay for your head band!!! I could see those as pins to put on a cardiagan too!!! WINK, WINK!!! (someone is having a birthday). I've heard of the water thing before, but never seen it in action. Ya, it was $%^&*@# cold!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Teri, Seems like forever since I've left you a comment! Firstly, I'm very sorry about your grandfather. Photos seem to become so important to us as the years go by. There was a time in my life when I couldn't be bothered looking at "old photos" and now I treasure every one I have. My first scrapbooking project was a heritage album that I did a couple of years ago and I was so happy that my mother could give me all sorts of details about family members who are now gone. At least I feel that I've recorded a little bit of the history of our family for anyone who's interested in the future.
ReplyDeletePlus - very cool headband you made! Extremely cool video of the hot water freezing in the cold air!! Major congrats on the house purchase!!! And finally, Happy Birthday to Cliff!!!! (geez, hope I got his name right. Clint? Clive?)
